My Therapeutic Style and Approach

MY
STYLE

I’m passionate about guiding people with anxiety and OCD toward enduring and meaningful change. I’m warm and genuine, but also direct and honest. I’m not the type of therapist who sits back and nods—I’m curious, interactive, and assertive.

My goal is to build a deep and authentic connection with you, recognizing that a strong client-therapist relationship is fundamental to successful therapy.  We'll balance the seriousness with moments of playfulness and humor, and you can trust that I will never judge you, and no thought, emotion, or topic is off-limits.

In my perspective, therapy isn't about mere survival; it's about thriving. However, genuine personal growth requires time and effort. Therapy is a dynamic process, not a quick fix. While I won't claim to have all the answers, what I bring is a fierce commitment to your success and an unwavering drive to facilitate transformative change in your life.

Your anxiety is not the problem —
How you respond to your anxiety is

My approach is rooted in the belief that anxiety can be our greatest teacher,  guiding us to areas within ourselves that need healing. While I know first-hand how painful anxiety can be, I also know that when you’re willing to approach it with compassion and curiosity, anxiety unveils an opportunity for significant personal growth. This journey not only catalyzes positive transformations within ourselves but also enriches our relationships with others and our overall experience of life.

MY
APPROACH

I approach therapeutic growth holistically, integrating evidence-based treatments with depth-oriented interventions to optimize outcomes and tailor counseling to your specific needs.

Beyond addressing symptoms, I place significance on working with the entire person. In addition to imparting the essential skills to manage your anxiety and OCD, I’ll guide you through self-worth, shame, and trauma work as needed.

My goal is for you to emerge from therapy with the ability to deeply and wholeheartedly engage with others and life, showing up from a place of worthiness and authenticity.
